We were in a crunch for time and Adriene Macedo's social anxiety started kicking in, so rather than assault customers at REI for staring at her, I proposed that we take pictures inside Adriene's car. She was down. Besides being beautiful. Adriene is an avid reader of outsider perspectives, like Graham Hancock. She is also big into conspiracy theories. For example, like that the Reagan administration sold weapons to Iran, or that there was a harmful virus in the polio vaccine, or that there weren't actually any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
