I remember shooting Dubsie at the height of the pandemic. She subscribes to a very progressive mentality that I similarly held back in my twenties. I suppose I can attribute it to youthful angst. You know, fuck the system and fuck the 'old way'. Righteous activism and all that jazz. These days, I'd rather just listen to jazz. When I meet a young person that doesn't hold a lot of anger and doesn't care to fight for any cause, I think to myself, "Shit, how did you get so smart?"
