She is thin and serious, but what I like most about Valya is that she will never complain. She might hate the place you chose for dinner or the hip new documentary that you put on about the world's smallest shoe, but she won't make a peep. Hell, even if you do something she really loves, Valya will look at you with the same blank stare and say, "yeah, that's fine." You have to admire her commitment to stoicism and her utmost respect for silence. I do, anyways.
