Like the world needs more nonsense to collect. I think that was whole idea behind NFTs--remove the physical storage aspect of art ownership. Less clutter. Less baggage. Only problem was that every asshole who knew how to upload a gif became an 'artist' and subsequently began hyping their project. Hell, even I joined in. Oh wait, I guess that makes me an artist/weirdo/asshole too! Time to update my business cards.
