When I lived in Arizona, I had to get up to run before the Sun poked its head over the horizon and started scorching everything in its path. The heat is no joke. But after one of these sweat-sucking runs, I would turn the shower to the coldest setting and step into Ecstasy. After that, the rest of the day was a mellow marshmallow. It does not take much even for a Polish woman, like Tracy Maura, to break a sweat in the Sonoran Desert heat.
